When I booked my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I was picturing beautiful coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Diving a wreck requires extra care. But the crew at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** were fantastic. Their PADI guides gave us an excellent briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the story of the wreck, and what to expect down there. The fact we were in such a small group immediately made me feel comfortable.

Descending was magical. At first, it's a shadow in the distance, then suddenly it appeared. It was massive. The ship is now a bustling artificial reef, draped in soft corals and swarming with marine life. I spotted giant groupers peeking from the hull, and lionfish hiding in the superstructure. That feeling of swimming next to this silent, ghostly vessel is hard to describe—eerie, awe-inspiring, here and humbling at the same time. It's a piece of history on the seabed.

For any a certified diver coming to Con Dao and seeking an adventure more the usual reef dive, I cannot urge you this **dive** highly enough. It was the absolute highlight of my diving trip.
